CASHNet eMarket
“What about non-students, alumni, departments, auxiliaries?”
CASHNet eMarket is a simple tool that allows you to conduct business over the Internet the way you want.
CASHNet eMarket provides your campus departments an easy way to create web storefronts where customers can select and pay for items in that store's catalog. Business offices today are using CASHNet eMarket as an administrative portal to maintain control through centralized policy setting and sophisticated reporting while allowing individual departments and entities the autonomy they need to manage their operation. This centralized approach enables the institution to update policies related to campus commerce immediately and uniformly throughout all departmental campus storefronts. All transaction data is stored in the central CASHNet database, maintaining a permanent audit trail for reconciliation, internal audits and inquiry.
Value to your Campus:
- Create, manage & operate a storefront with their own URL
- Post photos and descriptions of only the items they want
- Offer any payment tender types they desire
- Decide where the funds will be posted and deposited
CASHNet eMarket includes advanced Storefront, Checkout, and Transaction Gateway solutions that can be used independently or together, allowing various campus-wide departments to seamlessly accept and authorize payments. Types of payments are determined by the individual department and include alumni donations, theater tickets, t-shirt or sweatshirt purchases, or event & conference registration fees. At checkout, the user will click "pay here" and the transaction will be transmitted to the credit card processor.
eMarket Storefront
eMarket Storefront solution is a user-friendly template with text, drop down and radio button options for campus departments that do not have a storefront but would like to accept payments.
eMarket Checkout
eMarket Checkout solution interfaces with existing department storefronts that do not have a shopping cart/payment page feature to check out.
Transaction Gateway
Transaction Gateway funnels various campus storefronts with shopping cart/payment page capability to the credit card processor for authorization and payment. Institutions may use CASHNet's Storefront solution or existing departmental storefronts to accept credit card and ACH/EFT payments. The gateway immediately transfers the information to the central CASHNet database, which transmits the information to the processor for authorization. All transaction information will be stored in the CASHNet database for auditing and reporting.
" With eMarket, the user can easily set up their own storefront, they can customize it with colors, logos, their products . the university can really provide that service very inexpensively to the different departments (and) still have control over the types of things that are on there and it can be managed centrally. Found it very simple to make changes, add text . and (I'm) anxious to put it to use."
