CASHNet Training
We offer a number of classes that help you improve your skills, whether you work in the Cashier’s Office or are responsible for providing system support. CASHNet classes are only available to current customers.
Standard Services
We provide staff training as part of any installation or major upgrade. The training classes are geared to your institution’s policies and procedures, using real-life hands-on exercises to have your staff up and running with no interruption of service. We not only provide cashiering and administration training to your Cashier’s Office staff; we also supply those with a “need to know” with the tools they need to make decisions, track trends and analyze payment data.
The CASHNet Certification Program
As professionals in the business of higher education, you understand the value of proper training. That is one reason why we have developed the CASHNet Certification Program. Our program recognizes the technical knowledge and expertise achieved by a select group of CASHNet users.
The program consists of two levels of certification: Specialist and Expert.
Specialist Certification
The CASHNet Payment Processing Specialist certification validates a basic level of payment processing operational skills and the ability to perform general CASHNet system maintenance. The certification is applicable to supervisory-level personnel in the university business office and/or university IT department responsible for overseeing daily Cashiering operations, generating reports and maintaining system reliability.
Expert Certification
The CASHNet Payment Processing Expert certification validates an advanced level of payment processing operational skills and the ability to supervise and troubleshoot CASHNet system maintenance. This certification is applicable to supervisory-level personnel in the university business office and/or university IT department responsible for overseeing Cashiering operations, maintaining CASHNet tables and routines and monitoring system performance.
Institutions with Certified CASHNet Payment Processing Experts on site may be eligible for discounts on their maintenance support costs.
Onsite Training
We provide onsite training as part of the installation of Cashiering. Depending on the complexity of your installation, onsite training may be available with the installation of other modules.
Onsite training is also available on an as-needed basis for your staff. Contact your CASHNet sales representative for pricing information.
Campuses may also be eligible for substantial discounts for training by offering their site as a training site for neighboring schools. If you have a computer lab that has access to the Internet and can seat at least 10 students, you may want to consider hosting training at your campus. In exchange for the use of your facilities, we will offer your attendees a 25% discount on classes (subject to a required minimum number of students). Contact your sales rep or customer account manager for more information on onsite training.
Customized Training
Initial training on any CASHNet component is individualized to your campus’ needs. We use real-life examples reflecting the various types of charges, documents, payments and situations your Cashiering staff and/or Departmental staffs encounter in the course of a normal business day.
In addition, we are available to provide specialized, targeted training on an as-needed basis, whether in person or via the Internet. Contact your sales representative for pricing.
